Sorry, we do not take debit or credit cards!
1. How do we hear the movie? We broadcast our movies over FM digital radio sound at 98.9. You can tune in on your vehicle radio and hear it just like any other radio station. If you prefer, you may bring a battery operated radio to listen to. We do have a limited number of radios available at the concession stand, but due to the large numbers that we have had stolen, we have had to change our policy. We require either a driver's license or a $20.00 deposit plus a $1.00 charge to help with the cost of batteries. If the radio is returned in good condition, your license or $20.00 will be returned.
2. Do we have to pay for each movie? Your admission for the night covers the cost of both movies. You will be charged the same price even if you only want to watch one of the features.
3. Can we leave and return in the same night? No, if you leave the parking lot and return, you will be charged admission again. If you are seen trying to enter through the exit, you will be charged double or we will call the police, as this constitutes theft.
4. Can we bring in our own food? Currently we do not prohibit outside food or beverages or charge you to bring it in as other drive-in and walk-in theaters do. However we do ask that you clean up your trash and place it in the bags provided. If the trash problem continues with containers being brought in from the outside , we will be forced to prohibit food and drinks being brought in as this adds to our expense and safety problems. We also prohibit fires and glass containers of any kind on the lot.
5. How long do you remain open? We usually stay open through the month of November. We have no problem with staying open longer, but we have to keep enough customers coming to pay the expenses in order to stay open. When you start staying home, then we decide we might as well stay home also.
6. Why don't you post a monthly schedule of your movies? We are a small fish in a big pond, so in order to get the latest movies we keep our options open until the last moment. We have a booking agent in Atlanta who does a great job in finding us the latest and best movies for family entertainment, but most of the time it is a week to week thing. We always know by Tuesday of the week what will be playing on the weekend and occasionally we know the week before.
7. How do you choose which movies to show? We try to choose movies that appeal to a wide variety of people. We want family business, but we also want to be a place where teenagers can go to have a good time. We try not to show any R rated movies, but occasionally are caught where we have no other option. We try to choose those very carefully. There are some topics or storylines that we will not show, regardless of the ratings.
8. Why am I sometimes asked to move my vehicle after I am parked? The parking lot, for the most part is marked off with posts. There is room between each pair of posts for two vehicles to park. You pay for one parking space. You should park as close to the post as possible. You may put chairs, blankets, etc. in front of your vehicle, but not to the side and never too close to the driveways. When we have a big crowd, everyone wants to park as close to the screen as possible, so we have to enforce these parking rules. If we are not crowded, we are more relaxed about it.
9. What if I can't use my radio without my headlights coming on? On most vehicles this problem can be solved by using your emergency brake and then turning on your car. Consult your vehicle manual. If you cannot turn off your lights, then you must cover them with black plastic and tape so that they will not bother other patrons. And please, KEEP your foot off the brake. We get so many complaints about someone sitting with his foot on the brake without realizing his brake light is shining in the car behind him.
10. Do you have restrooms? Yes, our restrooms are located on the back of the concession stand. Our building was built in 1946, and our bathrooms are small. There are only two stalls for the ladies and one for the men. We apologize for this, but we have no room to expand them. The bathrooms are cleaned each night before opening. Please help us to keep them clean and report any problems to the concession stand. We try to keep a check but on busy nights, we don't have time.
11. Is there always a line at the box office? On a lot of nights there is. We have been trying to overcome this problem, but have not come up with a solution yet. We are opening earlier and running two lines most nights. One thing we do ask is that you please keep the exit driveway open. Our employees use this exit to get in and out and they must be able to get to work before we can open.
12. GROUPS If you are bringing group to the movies, please contact us ahead of time for tickets or collect your fees and purchase at the gate in one order. Taking time to collect from each individual in a large group allows our line to back up on the highway causing a safety hazard. We can be reached at 931-270-6200 between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. each Tuesday through Saturday. We will be happy to accept your payment and give you tickets at Special Tees & More at 1191 E. Commerce St. Lewisbug. Thank you.
