I came to Nashville in 2001 from the Chicagoland area, where i was born and raised. Where I grew up we had a Drive in theatre( Waukegan, Illinois) that got torn down for office buildings during the early 80s. Me and my buddies had so much fun going to the theatre almost every weekend. My kids cannot believe that they actually had those type of theatres, they only seen them on old movies. My wife has never been to one either, I am really looking forward to taking them this summer. Man I can't wait, It will bring back a lot of old memories for me, and start some new ones for my kids. I LOVE the drive in! It is such a great family fun place to come during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. My dad tells stories to my daughter about how he use to come to movies there when he was her age - just shows how through the years the drive in has made family memories for lots of people! She loves knowing her grandpa and mom both grew up coming to the drive in and now she can go and watch her favorite movies as well. We anxiously await each winter for the opening weekend and appreciate all the hard work you both do to keep the drive in going for us! Blessings to you both Gary and June!
We will be open each weekend until November if nothing major happens. We are having trouble with our phone service due to the rainy weather. Something is getting wet and causing problems. Before we can get a serviceman out, the lines have dried again and there is no problem, so they do nothing. We are hoping to have a new service going sometimes this week. I love love love the drive-in!! My fiance and I have been going every summer since we started dating 5 years ago. We loge going! It so much fun - I look forward to it opening every year! Its such a great price for a movie and its fun to go with a group and hang out. I hope you can keep the place up and running for many years to come!! I hope to bring my kids with me one day

My family enjoys going to te drive-in (almost every weekend) You guys always have a good crowd , and I am glad someone here in Marshall County has something good that ALL family can enjoy ( and most of all it's locally owned and family operated) Thats what I'm talking 'bout !!!! Hi Gary and June, It's been over 30 years since I have worked for you in the general store but have I never forgotten you. Hubby are planning a trip at the end of April and we are coming to Tennessee. I'd love to see you again. Hope you dont mind that I put this message here.
